About Me

Hi, I'm Hossam Elden Shoukry, a Senior Frontend Developer based in Mansoura, Egypt. Over the past 5+ years, I've built modern web applications across diverse industries—from e-commerce platforms and government portals to healthcare systems and food ordering apps.My journey started with a degree in Information Systems from the University of Jeddah, and since then I've worked with companies like Code95, TurnDigital, Kabret, and SmartSols, constantly evolving my skill set and delivering user-focused digital solutions.

My Stack

My primary framework is Vue.js—I've used it across all modern patterns: Options API, Composition API, Pinia, Vuex, Vue Query, and Nuxt.js. I also bring experience in React.js and Angular.js (with NgRx and Signals), and I'm comfortable working in TypeScript across all of them.On the styling side, I specialize in Tailwind CSS, SCSS, Vuetify, and PrimeVue. For backend integration, I work confidently with REST APIs, Firebase, and CMSes like Nova Laravel and Umbraco.

Payments & Real-Time

A large part of my work involves payments and money movement: card and online gateway checkouts, bank transfers, cash on delivery, and digital wallets—including wallet top-ups, balances, transaction history, refunds, and multi-currency invoices. I know how to make these flows safe on the frontend, with 3-D Secure steps, redirect and callback handling, double-submit protection, and error states users can actually recover from.I also build real-time experiences with Pusher and WebSockets—private and presence channels powering chat with typing indicators, presence, read receipts, and unread counters, plus live in-app notifications. With Service Workers I take that further into Web Push notifications, background sync, and offline-first PWAs that stay fast and usable on poor connections.

How I Work

I believe in writing clean, reusable component architectures that are easy for teammates to understand and extend. I collaborate using Git workflows (GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps) and use tools like Notion and Kanban boards for task management.I also leverage AI tools like Claude AI to accelerate development, debug faster, and tackle technical challenges more effectively.
